Welcome to Structwest Engineering. We are a professional engineering consulting firm based in the Pacific Northwest, providing Specialty Structural Analysis & Design Services for a wide range of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and delegated design items.
Our Principal Engineer holds professional engineering licenses both in the US (Colorado, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington) and Canada (BC and Alberta), and has an NCEES Record which allows him to get licensed easily in additional states if required.

Our Principal Engineer
Yaro Chebunin, M.Eng., P.Eng., P.E.
Yaro Chebunin holds both a Master of Engineering degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia.
Over the past 10 years, Yaro has accumulated invaluable experience through his work in consulting, structural engineering, construction project management, and metal fabrication. This multifaceted background has equipped him with a unique set of skills, enabling him to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective design solutions to steel detailers and metal fabricators across various industries.
Yaro is a follower of Jesus who seeks to live with purpose the life God gave him - loving his wife, raising his four kids, serving in his church, and building friendships. Outside of work, Yaro enjoys road biking, weight lifting, reading books, and spending time outdoors.
